Green Island

Green Island is a part of the Sea Front constructed in February of 1988. It is the first artificial island in the Gulf region. The island covers an area of 785,000m² with a diameter of 3.14KM and a circumference of 1.5 km. It is linked to the main land by an access way 134 m long.
The Green Island includes many touristic facilities such as:

• An artificial lake filled with water from the Gulf that flows in by taking advantage of the tide.

• Restaurants and cafes.

• The Roman Amphitheater with a capacity of 700 viewers which organizes entertainment, dancing and musical event.

• A tower that overlooks the island and offers visitors a panoramic view 35 meters above sea level.

• The ‛Kids Castle ’with its own water field trenches, artificial waterfalls and swings.

• Other activities include sports activities, entertainment activities, promotions and marketing offers.
• Public and private festivals are held on the island throughout the year.

Musical Fountain
This musical dancing fountain is one of the world’s largest fountains and is located in Kuwait City. It was established in 1983 and covers an area of 16,000 m².
The main fountain has 220 subsidiaries all distributed through three major fountains. It operates by 22 organized circuits that control the water up – flow to multiple heights reaching 35 m.
The fountain garden contains green spaces and family seating areas. In addition, children's playgrounds and a cafeteria for light food, pastries and a variety of drinks.

Touristic Gardens
Located in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh district, the Touristic Garden was established in 1984 and covers an area of 87,000 m².
It includes:

• The latest and most advanced video and electronic games and various sets of wooden rides.

• A theater with a capacity of 1,500 viewers and a number of arenas for entertainment activities, popular local programs and festivals.

• A cafeteria that serves a variety of light foods.

• Organization of different community festivals.
